Our history
2007
We started our company in August 2007 without a clear direction of where we were going.

After several years, we realized we were better at helping people with WordPress issues than at other aspects of our business. So, we made it our business to help people.
2012
Having worked with WordPress for so many years, with clients who were each on a different hosting providers, we saw how hard it can be to find a hosting service that doesn’t trick you to think it’s the best and it will make your website X times faster, then fails to deliver.
We wanted something different for our clients: a simple solution, optimized for WordPress, and supported by real people who actually know WordPress.
So we launched our own. It was called Simplenet.
2014
Andrei Chira participated as a speaker at WordCamp Romania, an event organized by Presslabs in Timisoara.
We met cool people from the industry and gave a presentation titled “How WordPress Changed My Life,” in which I discussed our journey in entrepreneurship.
2019
We moved from our hometown to a new city, and as with any move, we decided to give up and leave behind things that no longer brought us value.
So, on this occasion, we also closed all the sites, services, and projects that had been left forgotten and adrift. We decided to focus 100% on our specialized WordPress hosting services, also beyond our country, using the best European cloud providers.
2024
Andrei Chira participated again as a speaker at WordCamp Romania 2024.

2025
We rebranded from Simplenet to Kiravo.
We still use Simplenet in our local market (Romania). However, we needed a more unique name for the international market since Simplenet is already used by dozens of other businesses in different countries.
