How to check automatic card payments
Automatic card payments collect eligible invoice amounts from a saved card. Before relying on them, check your card, the payment method, and whether automatic collection is enabled for the services you want to renew.
The Kiravo client area shows Card via Stripe as a payment gateway. Choosing this gateway sets the payment method. It does not by itself confirm that invoices will be paid automatically.
Check your saved card
Section titled “Check your saved card”- Sign in to the client area and open Billing → Credit cards.
- If the page says No credit card has been submitted yet, follow How to manage credit cards to add one.
- If a card is saved, check its last digits and expiry date. Replace an expired or unusable card before relying on it for another payment.
Adding a card does not confirm that an earlier failed payment has been retried or that an outstanding invoice has been settled.
Choose the default payment method
Section titled “Choose the default payment method”- Open Account details → Settings.
- Under Billing, open Default payment gateway. The available choices include None, BankTransfer, and Card via Stripe.
- Choose Card via Stripe if you want card payments as the default method.
- Select Apply this selection to all existing services only if you also intend to replace their current payment methods. Leave it unchecked when existing services should keep their individual settings.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. Wait for confirmation, then check that the saved value matches your selection.

If a hosting service offers a separate Default payment method under Service Auto Renewal, review that setting too. See service auto-renewal. A domain has its own auto-renewal setting.
Confirm automatic collection
Section titled “Confirm automatic collection”If your account does not show an explicit automatic-charge setting or confirmation, open a support ticket before relying on automatic collection. Ask whether it is enabled for the relevant services or domains, when payment will be attempted, and how failed payments are handled. Include the service ID or domain name, without card details.
Use Kiravo’s billing notices and the due date on each invoice to track payments. Do not assume a fixed charge date or retry schedule. A card payment can still fail or require authentication from your bank.
Verify that an invoice was paid
Section titled “Verify that an invoice was paid”Open Billing → Invoices and check the invoice’s status, amount paid, and amount left to pay. Keep any payment confirmation for your records.
If a payment fails, check the card’s expiry date, available funds, and any authentication request from your bank. Follow the payment options shown on the invoice. If your bank shows a transaction but the invoice is still unpaid, contact support before paying again.
Stop automatic card payments
Section titled “Stop automatic card payments”Use an explicit automatic-charge control if your account provides one, and save and verify the change. If no such control is available, ask Kiravo support to confirm how to stop automatic collection for the relevant services or domains. Changing the default gateway alone is not confirmation that a scheduled charge has been cancelled.
Stopping automatic payments does not cancel your services or remove outstanding invoices. Keep track of due dates and pay invoices manually when required. To end a hosting service, follow Request cancellation.
